…..and a couple of knuckleheads<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Have you ever said to yourself “self, I’m getting too old for this Krap?” I’m only 66 and I just said it the other day, and I was just changing a tire………on a bike……..it was the front wheel too. Why don’t our elected officials do the same? There are a number of reasons why the currently accepted retirement age in this country is 66. One of them is that when humans get old they start to decline in physical and cognitive ability, some more than others. Let’s talk about that. We’ll start with the most debilitated and work down.<\/p>\r\n

\"\"Mitch McConnell – Republican.<\/strong> He has been in office since 1984 and he is 84. I’m sure Mitch has had a lot of success during his time in office, but that changed recently when the guy had a brain freeze in the middle of a speech – not once<\/strong>,<\/a> but t<\/strong><\/a>wice.<\/strong><\/a> This wasn’t a situation where he was lost for words, he was just lost deep in left field on the warning track. Mitch is currently the Senate minority leader. That means that he is the leader of all the other Republican senators. Check out both of the links.<\/p>\r\n

\"\"Joe Biden – Democrat.<\/strong> Joe has been in politics since 1972 and he is 80. You know it’s bad when members of your own party are encouraging you to retire and not run in 2024. There are times when Joe doesn’t know where he is – link<\/a>. <\/strong>Joe congratulates dead people during a speech – link<\/strong><\/a>. Joe doesn’t recognize the British Prime Minister. Joe forgot the name of the Hawaiian island (Maui) that suffered a devastating fire that killed 100 people – link<\/a><\/strong>. Joe forgets what year he became president – link<\/a><\/strong>. And he’s the president of the most powerful country on the planet. WOW!<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

\"\"Dianne Feinstein – Democrat.<\/strong> She has been in office since 1992 and she is 89. Dianne is also the oldest senator. Let’s be real, this woman is falling apart. She is in a wheelchair, half of her face is frozen, and when Dianne is on the Senate floor, she has a minder who watches everything the Senator does so she doesn’t screw up – link<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0 Unaware of her own retirement announcement – link<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
